Sefton Area Full-Time
As an HTLA, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to raise achievement and engagement.
- Lead small group or whole-class sessions, delivering pre-planned lessons where required.
- Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities that support the curriculum.
- Provide targeted support to pupils, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Encourage independence and confidence in pupils through personalised learning approaches.
- Maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to assessing pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote wellbeing and progress.
- Model professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Actively contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities.
