Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of recruitment and staffing services (“Services”) by CT Recruitment (“we,” “our,” “us”) to clients (“you,” “your”), including schools, care homes, and other organisations. By booking staff through CT Recruitment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Services Provided

  • CT Recruitment supplies temporary and permanent staff, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Care Assistants.
  • All staff are pre-screened, vetted, and cleared in accordance with industry standards, including DBS checks where applicable.
  • We aim to match staff to your specific requirements but cannot guarantee exact availability at all times.

3. Booking Process

  • Bookings must be made via our official booking system, email, or phone.
  • Confirmation of your booking will be sent once suitable staff are allocated.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information about the role, working hours, and location.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Fees will be agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.
  • Invoices will be issued weekly (or as otherwise agreed) and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Late payments may incur interest charges in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff provided are given a safe and appropriate working environment.
  • Provide any mandatory training or site-specific induction required.
  • Comply with all legal obligations, including health and safety requirements.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Same-day cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice): You will be charged 100% of the agreed daily/shift fee.
  • Short-notice cancellations (24–48 hours’ notice): You will be charged 50% of the agreed daily/shift fee.
  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee will apply.
  • Cancellations must be communicated directly to CT Recruitment by phone or email.

7. Liability

  • CT Recruitment is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from the performance or conduct of staff supplied, except where required by law.
  • You remain responsible for supervising staff and ensuring compliance with your organisation’s policies.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches these Terms.
  • CT Recruitment reserves the right to withdraw staff immediately where working conditions are unsafe or where staff are subject to unreasonable treatment.

9. Data Protection

  • All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Client and staff information will be processed only for the purpose of providing recruitment services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
